At Cape Coalwood, the final rocket, “MISS RILEY” is on the pad. Quentin unrolls a spool of wire back to the launch control box.
“It’s our last rocket,” says O’Dell.
“Yeah, let’s do it!” says Roy Lee.
Homer spies Valentine standing in the crowd of onlookers.
“Wire it up for me,” says Homer. “I gotta do something.” He walks toward Valentine.
Dorothy runs up to Homer.
“Congratulations on winning the science fair!” says Dorothy.
“Thanks,” says Homer.
“It’s gotta be the most exciting thing that’s ever happened around here!” continues Dorothy. “I was thinking, Homer, if you’ve got some time–“
“Excuse me,” says Homer to Dorothy, and turns toward Valentine.
