Homer turns to follow Ike&#8217;s body.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s John Hickam!&#8221; yells another miner. Homer turns around.<\/p>\n<p>John Hickam is supported by two miners. He&#8217;s badly injured.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dad!&#8221; yells Homer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The cable snapped. May have fractured his skull!&#8221; explains one of the miners. They put John Hickam on another stretcher.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Out of the way!&#8221; yells a miner. &#8220;Move back, folks.
